Navigation Drawer (Contacts)

The basic usage of Navigation Drawer in Contacts is almost similar with other apps. The principal philosophy of Nine is focusing on helping people who want to use for messaging application based on email associated with Exchange Active Sync in all environment. Among apps we have made, the Contacts has taken an important role to make us help their judgment in which people have to select Nine for their messaging application in the mobile environment without any hesitation. Nine has not only gorgeous appearance in UI aspect but also tremendous features to help people work their jobs.

  • All Contacts: If you have several accounts in Nine, it can let you see all contacts belong to all accounts at a glance.

  • My Contacts: This view is to show contacts and contact list after synced with 'Your Contacts' in Exchange. Of course, you can select something among contacts included in 'Your Contacts' of Outlook for Exchange.

  • Contact belongs to your account: It means that you can see only particular contacts list in your registered account. To set up options, tap option icon in the right end in the account item, you can set various options related to the account such as 'Sync folders', 'GAL sharing', 'File as(it's to specify a saving format type of contact as a file when syncing from Nine to server)', and 'Categories', etc. You can find these options in the Settings > Accounts Settings > Content to sync | Contacts. Merely, In Settings, you can't set the category to each contact, but it's easily set in Options of Navigation Drawer.

  • Categories: if tapping the options in Categories item of Navigation Drawer, you can select to see only contacts specified a category in each contact. When it comes to designating category to each contact, we will look into the Contact section in detail. Therefore, here I'll put some tip about a way to specify a category to a contact.
